Working Gundog Training Day

LOCATION:  Woodbridge, Suffolk (full details and directions will be given when your booking is confirmed)

DATE:  Sunday 17th November 2024

TIME:  10.00am to 1.00pm (please arrive in plenty of time)

TRAINER:  Adam Snare

TRAINING FEE:  £15 for members and £35 for non members

APPLICATIONS CLOSE:  10 days prior to the training date, however spaces booked will be taken on a first come, first served basis.

TRAINER: 

Your trainer will be Adam Snare - working gundog trainer at Mearecastle Gundogs.

Adam is a member of the England Gundog Team (2022/2024). A KC Non-Panel Judge and a regular coach at the Norfolk and Suffolk HPR FT Club. Adam has been training gundogs for over 20 years, starting with Labradors, Spaniels and then HPRs. He regularly competes in gundog tests and field trials.

DETAILS OF THE TRAINING DAY: 

The training will be for a maximum of six dogs and will be most suitable for beginners and novices. The session will be split as follows:

• The first hour will be theory and discussion and will be held indoors (learning commands, understanding fundamentals, what a retrieve is and more).

• The remaining time will be spent on the training field practicing.

In the case of over subscription priority will be given to members of the Korthals Griffon Club GB then non members with a Korthals Griffon and then to HPRs.

Upon notification of acceptance to the training day, you will be asked to pay the fee by bank transfer (details will be given at the time).

• If oversubscribed there will be a reserved list held.

• If anyone has to cancel at short notice for a genuine reason, we will endeavour to fill your place from the reserve list.  If we can't fill your place at short notice,  then the training fee will be forfeit.

• Bitches in season will not be allowed on the ground

• Neither the Korthals Griffon Club or the hosts of this training will accept any liability for any accident, damage, illness or injury to dogs, owners, handlers and spectators or any other person or property whatsoever.
