Land and Water Day with Jason Hudson

LOCATION:  Nr Ilkley, West Yorkshire (full details and directions will be given when your booking is confirmed)

DATE:  Sunday 19th July 2026

TIME:  Arrive 9.30am - for 10am to 3pm (half hour lunch break)

TRAINER:  Jason Hudson

TRAINING FEE:  £45 for members and £55 for non members

APPLICATIONS CLOSE:  10 days prior to the training date

TRAINER: 

Your trainer will be Jason Hudson. Jason has a wealth of knowledge in breeding, owning, training and competing with his Korthals Griffon and other HPRs. He has succeeded, and been in the awards, on numerous occasions with his Griffs at working tests and field trials at Open level. In 2018 Jason and his Griff, Taiza (Fechlindream Don) came 2nd at the Royal kennel Club HPR Championships, a fantastic achievement.

The ground on the day is an amazing training ground with a variety of areas to work such as jumps, lanes, rough and water. It really is an opportunity not to be missed to work your dog.

DETAILS OF THE TRAINING DAY - LEVEL NOVICE:

This day will be for a maximum of six dogs and will cover a variety of areas such a retrieving work, handling techniques on land and water with the possible use of shot too.

There will be a lunch break part way through the day (please bring your own). Details of what to bring and the location of the training will be sent through to you once your booking is confirmed.

In the case of over subscription priority will be given to members of the Korthals Griffon Club GB then non members with a Korthals Griffon and then to HPRs.

• Upon notification of acceptance to the training day, you will be asked to pay the fee by bank transfer (details will be given at the time).

• If oversubscribed there will be a reserved list held.

• If anyone has to cancel at short notice for a genuine reason, we will endeavour to fill your place from the reserve list.  If we can't fill your place at short notice,  then the training fee will be forfeit.

• Bitches in season will not be allowed on the ground

• Neither the Korthals Griffon Club or the hosts of this training will accept any liability for any accident, damage, illness or injury to dogs, owners, handlers and spectators or any other person or property whatsoever.
