About the Event

Training for absolute beginners, those wanting to see what it’s about and those who want to develop their skills!

Suitable for Griffs and HPR friends of five months old and upwards but you will get more out of the day if your dog has done some basic obedience – sit, stay, recall, walk on a lead etc.

We have a morning session for the beginners and the afternoon will be for those with a bit more experience.  If in doubt which session would suit you, please get in touch.

Training will be adapted according to the abilities of the handlers  and dogs on the day so if you are an experienced handler and you want  to  brush up ready for Working Tests or you are a beginner or have a puppy, this event is perfect for you and will cover field obedience, handler skills, various forms of retrieve practice, hunting principles and practice and an introduction to shot if appropriate.
