Gundog Training - June 2023

LOCATION:  Loughborough, Leicestershire (full details and directions will be given when your booking is confirmed)

TRAINING FEE:  £55 for members and £65 for non members

APPLICATIONS CLOSE:  10 days prior to the training date, however spaces booked will be taken on a first come, first served basis.

TRAINING: 

Your trainers will be Stevie Allerton and Steve Robson of Eshaldwell Gundog Training and the above days are aimed at beginners and novice dogs and handlers.

Participants will work on hunting practice, steadiness and the development of retrieving skills in woodland as well as more open ground under the supervision of trainers who have been involved with the working and training of HPR breeds over many years.

DETAILS OF THE TRAINING DAYS: 

The day will be for a maximum of 6 dogs and will be most suitable for beginner and novice dogs & handlers and those just starting out with their training regime and/or problem solving.

This will be very full and social day. Tea and coffee will be provided at the start of the day and at lunchtime. However, you will be responsible for own refreshments, food, water and towels for your dog.

Please bring all relevant training aids (slip lead, whistle, long line, treats or a toy and something the dog likes to fetch – even if it is a smelly sock)! A good sense of humour is mandatory!

In the case of over subscription priority will be given to members of the Korthals Griffon Club GB and then to beginner handlers and young dogs:

• Upon notification of acceptance to the training day, you will be asked to pay the fee by bank transfer (details will be given at the time).
• If oversubscribed there will be a reserved list held.
• If anyone has to cancel at short notice for a genuine reason, we will endeavour to fill your place from the reserve list.  If we can't fill your place at short notice,  then the training fee will be forfeit.

Please note you can book on any of the days (you don’t have to come to all three). The booking link will take multiple bookings so if you decide that you want to do another day then the booking link will still apply at a later date.
