DATE: Saturday 15th August 2026
TIME: 10am to 1pm
FEE: £20 for members and £30 for non members
APPLICATIONS CLOSE: 5 days prior to the workshop date
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
We will cover and share with you the essential technique of hand stripping, a must for keeping your Griff looking it's best and to prevent matting. Learn how often to groom and which tools to use like a stripping knife or stone, what brush or comb are best suited for the job.
We will also cover grooming around certain areas such as around the ears, feet and tail.
The Korthals Griffon is a fascinating breed with unique grooming needs. Known for the wiry, dense coat, these dogs require regular grooming to maintain a healthy appearance.
The Workshop is open to members and non-members. Please bring your Griff along and the tools you use to groom with currently. if you have any questions on grooming or if you are struggling with something in particular, then we will be happy to chat through those with you too!

Upon notification of acceptance of your place you will be asked to pay the fee by bank transfer (details will be given at the time).
If oversubscribed there will be a reserved list held.
If anyone has to cancel at short notice for a genuine reason, we will endeavour to fill your place from the reserve list. If we can't fill your place at short notice, then the fee will be forfeit.
PLEASE NOTE
Bitches in season will not be allowed at the workshop but you are welcome to attend if you have secured your place as you may get some good advice/tips from the day and it is always good to meet up with fellow Griff owners!
For everyone's safety, only well behaved dogs may attend. Any dogs showing signs of hostility or aggressiveness will be asked to leave.
Neither the Korthals Griffon Club or the hosts of this workshop will accept any liability for any accident, damage, illness or injury to dogs, owners, handlers and spectators or any other person or property whatsoever.
